What tests are required for Harker School’s admissions?

  • Grades K–2: Candidates will submit a cognitive test from one of their recommended psychologists in Ravenna and arrange a face-to-face classroom visit and readiness evaluation with their teachers.
  • Grades 3-4: Teachers at Harker Lower School will administer the ISEE to applicants in person.
  • Grade 5: Besides submitting their ISEE (Independent School Entrance Exam) results, applicants will meet with their teachers in person for an activity session.
  • Grades 6-11: Testing scores from the ISEE (Independent School Entrance Exam) or SSAT (Secondary School Admission Test) must be submitted by all applicants for grades 6–11. Please visit the ISEE and SSAT websites to register and learn more about each exam.
