Is the SAT harder than the ACT?

That is the million dollar question. Asking if the SAT is harder than the ACT is like asking if a ghost pepper is spicier than a habanero. It really just depends on your personal taste for pain.

The ACT is a fast paced sprint. It includes a science section that tests how well you read charts and graphs. The SAT gives you a bit more time per question, letting you ponder the mysteries of the universe and its math problems a little longer.

Neither is objectively “harder.” One just might fit your brain’s unique wiring better than the other. The only way to know your flavor of challenge is to try them both.
