What is Girls’ Middle School’s ranking?

The Girls’ Middle School (GMS) does not appear in traditional national or state rankings like those published by Niche, U.S. News & World Report, or GreatSchools, largely because it is a small, independent middle school that serves only grades 6–8 and does not participate in standardized test-based evaluations commonly used for rankings.

However, GMS is widely regarded within the Bay Area educational community as one of the most innovative and respected all-girls middle schools, especially known for:

  • Its entrepreneurship and engineering programs
  • A progressive, project-based curriculum
  • Strong focus on empowering girls during the critical middle school years

Many GMS graduates go on to attend top private and independent high schools in the region, which speaks to the school’s strong academic and character preparation.
