Is Athena Academy only for students with diagnosed learning differences?

Not at all. While many students at Athena have been diagnosed with learning differences like dyslexia, ADHD, or auditory processing challenges, a diagnosis isn’t a requirement for belonging. What really matters is fit. Athena is designed for bright, curious kids who think differently, learn differently, or just don’t quite thrive in traditional classrooms. Some students come in with formal evaluations, others come in with a gut feeling from their parents that says, “Something isn’t clicking.” And Athena listens. They look beyond the paperwork and focus on the whole child. If your student is creative, quirky, brilliant, and maybe a little misunderstood, Athena might be exactly what they need.
