Which version of the ISEE does my child take, and where?

There are four levels of the ISEE: Primary (grades 2–4), Lower (grades 5–6), Middle (grades 7–8), and Upper (grades 9–12). Most LA students preparing for private middle or high school take either the Middle or Upper Level. The test is offered online or in-person at many Los Angeles locations, including private schools and designated testing centers.
