Do top-ranked schools guarantee college admission?

While attending a top-ranked school can give a student a significant advantage, it does not guarantee admission to a top college. Universities look at a student’s individual performance within the context of their high school’s rigor. Attending a highly-ranked school means your student likely has access to challenging coursework and experienced college counselors, which can strengthen their application.
