Who gets to make the Class Shield?

This one’s strictly for the eighth-grade dream team. At Berkeley Hall, creating the Class Shield is a rite of passage reserved for students in their final year—a sort of grand finale with glue guns and grit. It’s their chance to leave a creative legacy, blending woodworking, design, teamwork, and just the right amount of chaos (the good kind). From brainstorming a class motto to laser-cutting intricate designs, eighth-graders roll up their sleeves and bring their collective spirit to life. It’s messy, meaningful, and deeply memorable. And when the final shield goes up on the wall, it’s a moment of “we did that!” pride they’ll never forget.
