Do I need to submit both the SAT and ACT to colleges?

Absolutely not! Please do not put yourself through that. Submitting both the SAT and ACT is like wearing a belt with suspenders. It is completely redundant and shows a slight lack of confidence. Colleges view both tests equally and have no secret preference, despite what you might hear.

Your mission is to figure out which test you are better at, focus all your energy on conquering that single exam, and then send in your highest score. One knockout score is infinitely more impressive to an admissions officer than two mediocre ones. Pick your champion, train it well, and let it fight the battle for you. It is all about strategy.
