What documents are required for The Field School application?

The Field School’s application requirements vary by grade level. Below is a breakdown of the necessary documents and steps for each division:

Grades 6–12 (all applicants)

  1. Online Application via Ravenna
  2. Application Fee (waived for families applying for financial aid)
  3. Student Questionnaire
  4. Parent/Guardian Questionnaire
  5. Current and Previous Year School Transcripts
  6. English Teacher Recommendation
  7. Math Teacher Recommendation
  8. Principal or Counselor Recommendation
  9. Standardized Test Scores
    • Required for applicants to Grades 6 through 11
    • Acceptable tests: SSAT, ISEE, or other nationally normed standardized test from the past year

Additional Notes by Grade:

  • Grade 6: Primary entry point. Full application required, including test scores and three recommendations.
  • Grade 9: Another key entry point. Same documentation as Grade 6.
  • Other Grades (7, 8, 10, 11, 12): Applications are considered on a space-available basis and require the same materials.
