This is the first step for all grade levels and can be done via Ravenna or by emailing the admissions office. Open Houses are typically offered from October to January for Grades 1–8, and in October and December for Grades 9–12.

2. Submit the Application on Ravenna

Everything starts here. Once your application is submitted through Ravenna, you’ll be able to move forward with the rest of the admissions process. This includes scheduling your child’s shadow visit and uploading all required documents. 

3. Bowman School Shadow Visit

This is a must for Grades 1–12. Students get a true Bowman Bee experience by spending two full school days on campus from 10:00 AM to 3:30 PM. These visits can be scheduled after the application is submitted on Ravenna.

4. Submit Teacher Recommendations and Transcripts for Bowman School

Required for all applicants in Grades 1–12. Through Ravenna, families request teacher recommendations and academic records.

5. Bowman School Parent or Family Interview

This step happens in February and March. For Grades 1–8, it’s a Parent Interview. For Grades 9–12, it’s a Family Interview, where the student is expected to participate.
