The school is no longer accepting applications for Pre-Kindergarten through Grade 2 for the 2025–26 school year. However, late applications are still being accepted for Grades 3–12.
Testing Policy: Rye Country Day School requires prospective students to take assessments based on their entry point:
Pre-kindergarten to Grade 2 Applicants: Assessments last 25 minutes and are conducted in person with the Lower School Assessment Manager.
Grades 3 and 4 Applicants: Students must take the ISEE Primary, offered in person January 6 at 8:30 a.m., with testing scheduled through the ERB website and completed by January 10.
Grades 5 to 12 Applicants: Applicants must take either the ISEE or SSAT, and testing must be completed by January 10, with scores sent directly to RCDS.
Essay Questions: The parent/guardian questionnaire (required for all applicants) and the student questionnaire (for Grades 5–12 applicants) can be submitted online through the application portal.
Alternatively, all application materials can be downloaded if preferred for submission via mail or email.
