Producing top-notch graduates since 1970, Turning Point School believes in collaboration between students to utilize critical thinking and problem-solving skills to achieve collective goals. They boast of Innovation Labs equipped with the latest technology, so students can engage in real-world Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, and Mathematics (STEAM). They also have SmartLab for students to practice their entrepreneurial spirit and resourcefulness with the eight systems of technology: science & data acquisition, mechanics and structures, robotics and control technology, circuitry, graphic design, and multimedia. Turning Point School also practices student mentorship, where older students partner with younger ones to help them grow, fostering leadership and a sense of community and camaraderie between students. Their admission process requires:
1. Complete an online inquiry on their website.
2. Participate in an Admissions Info Session or In-Person Open House.
3. Complete the online application.
4. Sign up for an in-person tour and family conversation.
5. Recommendations from current English and math teachers and a school administrator.
6. Recent transcript records.
Due to the exclusivity and more advanced tools and learning that private schools offer, admissions take more work to complete. Cardinal Education helps Asian American families with tutoring, academic consultation, and interview prep.
