Established in 1995, New Roads School is a picture of a modern institution with a strong focus on DEIJB (diversity, equity, inclusion, justice, and belonging) and PWI (peace, wellness, and inclusion) to develop their students’ growth further. They prize weekly town halls for students to encourage the exchange of ideas, healthy venting of feelings for validation, and a sense of community at an early age. New Roads School also has a human development program for their upper school called Mysteries. It teaches students various techniques to make responsible choices in their own lives, giving them autonomy. This institution’s application requirements are:
1. Submitting an application.
2. Completion of the student essay and questionnaire.
3. Recommendations from current math and English teachers and a school administrator.
4. Recent two years of transcripts.
Private school admissions are more challenging to stand out due to the number of families wishing to get in. Cardinal Education helps Asian American families stand out with preparations such as interview prep, essay prep, and educational consulting.
