Academics

Marlborough is organized into a Middle School of grades 7, 8 and 9 and an Upper School of grades 10, 11 and 12. Middle School students carry a minimum of six courses per semester; Upper School students a minimum of four academic courses, though most take five. Departments span English, Mathematics, Science, History and Social Sciences, World Languages, Visual Arts, Performing Arts, Health Education, Physical Education, Social Justice and Community Partnerships, the Global Futures Institute and the Center for Entrepreneurship and Innovation.
