01Testing Policy
No tests are needed for PC/CC or Groups I–II, but Groups III–IV require the ISEE Primary. Groups V–XI need either the ISEE or SSAT, with scores due by January 15.

All applicants need a teacher recommendation and one from their school head. Older students (Groups VI–XI) also need separate English and Math teacher letters, with an optional extra activity recommendation.

Your child’s current school must email their current grades and previous full-year transcript, including test scores, directly to the admissions office.

Every family must complete a parent/guardian interview. Starting in Group V, students also participate in an interview; younger children visit in person instead. Virtual options are available.
