How Hard Is It to Get Into BASIS Independent Fremont?
BASIS doesn’t publish an acceptance rate or a fixed number of new seats, but it describes admissions as a selective process. The school looks for students who are curious, eager to learn, willing to work hard, and excited to contribute to a collaborative community. Because the BASIS sequence builds quickly, readiness matters: the ISEE or SSAT, two to three years of grades, and teacher recommendations all help the admissions team judge whether a student can keep pace. Bay Area families often compare it with BASIS Independent Silicon Valley, its sister campus, and other independent schools across the region.
