Cardinal Education is an independent educational consulting company. We are not affiliated, associated, authorized, endorsed by, or in any way officially connected with any public or private school.
We’re here to help your child shine in every part of the Washington International School admissions process.
With its dual-language curriculum and full International Baccalaureate (IB) program, Washington International School (WIS) offers a globally-minded education that stands out in the heart of DC. Known for academic rigor and cultural diversity, the WIS admissions process can be competitive and nuanced—especially for families unfamiliar with IB programs or bilingual education. At Cardinal Education, we’ve helped Asian American families successfully navigate the Washington International School admissions journey. We offer strategic, personalized support in:
1. Online Application via Ravenna
2. Parent and Student Questionnaires
3. School Reports and Transcripts
4. Two Teacher Recommendations (current English and Math teachers)
5. SSAT
6. Math/English Assessment
7. Language assessment for bilingual track applicants
8. Student Interview/School Visit
We understand how to position your child as a globally-engaged learner who thrives in bilingual and inquiry-based academic environments. Our expert consultants ensure every part of your child’s application reflects the values, skills, and intellectual curiosity that WIS looks for in future students.
