Since its foundation, Tabor Academy has been known as “The School by the Sea.” Its environment is right beside the Sippican Harbor and grants students uniquely place-based learning opportunities. True to its name, Tabor offers rigorous educational programs in Marine and Nautical Science, as well as sports limited to waterfront schools such as Sailing. 

Tabor Academy is one of the most highly-rated boarding high schools in Massachusetts. According to Niche, Nueva is ranked as the best private high school in Plymouth County, the best high school for STEM in Plymouth County, and one of the best private high schools in Massachusetts.

Though the school tries to accommodate numerous students into its diverse community, Tabor Academy admissions are still highly selective. On average, the Tabor acceptance rate is 38%. This is incredibly low compared to the 71% average private school acceptance rate in Massachusetts.

Tabor Academy offers generous and spacious residential facilities, having 16 dorms on campus.
