Dracula
Overview & Summary
Solicitor Jonathan Harker travels to a remote Transylvanian castle to finalize a real estate transaction for the mysterious Count Dracula, only to discover his host is an ancient vampire who intends to relocate to England and spread his undead curse. As Dracula preys on Harker's fiancée and her friend in England, a small band led by the vampire hunter Van Helsing races to stop him. Bram Stoker's 1897 epistolary novel established many of the conventions that define vampire fiction to this day.
