History Tutoring

The skills required to do well in history class are the core skills of the humanities: active reading, critical thinking, and analytical writing. Additionally, many students know that they should take notes during class lectures and while reading their textbooks, but few realize that there is a right way and a wrong way to take notes for ideal retention. At Cardinal Education, we work with students to improve their note taking, reading, and writing skills so that they understand context, visualize cause and effect, dissect primary documents, and craft persuasive essays using original research skills. For best results, our Program in Writing and Rhetoric is a perfect complement to history coaching for any grade.
