Does Pinewood School prioritize technology over other essential skills?

Absolutely not! Pinewood does not put screens ahead of basic skills. It may seem like they prioritize technology in their curriculum, but that is not so. In fact, Pinewood School values essential human skills that help kids thrive in all aspects of life, not just on a computer.

More than anything else, they put great emphasis on fostering critical thinking, problem-solving, and interpersonal skills. These are things that technology can help with sometimes, but it can’t replace. Pinewood understands that students need a solid foundation in these areas. They want their students to be well-rounded individuals who can not only navigate the digital world but also think creatively, solve complex problems, and build strong relationships with others. So, while they’re definitely embracing the power of technology, they only do so in service of the crucial life skills they need.
