Do Pinewood students in all grades get their own iPads?

Pinewood uses a unique approach in how they distribute iPads according to their age and grade level. For the youngest learners, those in kindergarten through 2nd grade, the school uses shared iPads within the classrooms. The gadgets are used as a collaborative learning tool where kids can work together on activities and explore educational apps as a group. It’s all about introducing technology in a supported and social way at an early age.

When the students become slightly older and move into higher elementary years, from third grade all the way up to sixth grade, the setup changes. In these grades, each student gets their own iPad to use. However, these iPads stay in school. This practice reinforces the idea that these gadgets are primarily learning tools to be used within the school premises. It’s a really intentional way they’ve integrated technology into their curriculum.
